Cheesy Tuesday – Sausage Pasta Supper

500g Sausage,                                   3 tablespoons Oil,
2 medium onions sliced,                300g Pasta – Penne or Macaroni,
Salt and Pepper,                               2 tablespoons Sage,
475g White Sauce,                           40g Bread Crumbs,
50g Cheddar grated.

Preheat oven 200C.  Remove skin from sausages and break up the meat into small chunky pieces.
Using half of the oil, fry the sausage pieces until crispy, 3 to 4 minutes. Set aside.
Add the remaining oil to the pan and cook the onion until soft and golden.
Cook the pasta according to instructions on the package.
Drain the pasta and mix with the sausage, onion, sage and white sauce. Season and spoon into an ovenproof dish.  Cover with the breadcrumbs and cheese.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden and crusty on top.
